To my utter dismay, today I discovered that I walk and jog at the same pace. And I seem to work up a semi-decent sweat when walking on purpose over a period of time.
Walking is easier on my knees and ankles – and shins, hips and lower back.
I’m 51 years old and coming to the realization of what aging is. My bulletproof body of yesteryear is forever gone. Now, what have I to look forward to? Aging. Ok cool, how can we make aging an adventure filled with discovery and joy?
We can’t – not 100%. Aging sucks a good deal of the time. So, how about we ride the joyful adventure train a specific percentage of the time, like one helluva lot percent of the time!
